Semper Fi was contracted by the Lake County Department of Transportation to restore and expand 70 acres of wetlands at Buffalo Creek Forest Preserve in Long Grove, IL. The project also included installation of over one mile of aggregate multi-use trail and one adjustable water control structure. The construction portion of this project was completed in the summer of 2018. Vegetative management was ongoing until 2023.
